FOOD

MA’SITAS SALTEÑAS

About Ma’Sita’s Salteñas 🇧🇴

Ma’Sita’s began with a family recipe created nearly 40 years ago by Sandra and Jose Del Granado, who immigrated to the United States from Bolivia and brought with them the flavors, traditions, and love of their homeland.

What started as a cherished family tradition has grown into something much bigger. Today, Ma’Sita’s brings together generations, family, and the people who share our passion for preserving our roots while building something new. We honor where we came from while embracing who we are today and the future we are creating together.

Our mission is to share authentic Bolivian salteñas while preserving the flavors, traditions and sense of community that inspired Ma’Sita’s in the first place.

We’re proud to be based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and even prouder to introduce more people to a little piece of Bolivia, one salteña at a time. 🇧🇴❤

ABOUT JANETT ADAMS

A life of purpose, advocacy and community.

My mom was born in the capital of the Bolivian Amazon. Her life was shaped early by loss, but she built a future through determination, education, and an unstoppable drive to create opportunities for others.

She became a trailblazer in media, culture, and community organizing in Wilmington, North Carolina, founding La Prensa de las Carolinas, Radio Mazima, Cape Fear Latina and the Azalea Latino stage.
